We manufacture stainless steel nuts in grades 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321 and 347/347H, widely preferred for corrosion resistance and long service life. These nuts are used in construction, water treatment, food processing, and general engineering applications, offering excellent oxidation resistance and hygiene compatibility.
For chloride-rich and aggressive corrosive environments, we supplyDuplex (S31803/S32205) and Super Duplex (S32750/S32760) nuts. These nuts provide high strength, resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and exceptional performance in offshore platforms, desalination plants, and marine environments.
Our alloy steel nuts including ASTM A193 Grade B7/B16 are designed for high-pressure bolting, refineries, power plants, and heavy engineering sectors, ensuring excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance.
We manufacture high-quality Cupro-Nickel nuts designed for excellent performance in seawater and marine environments. Available in 90/10 and 70/30 grades, these nuts offer outstanding resistance to saltwater corrosion, biofouling, and erosion in high-velocity water systems. They are widely used in shipbuilding, desalination plants, heat exchangers, condensers, and offshore piping systems. Engineered for durability and dimensional accuracy, our Cupro-Nickel nuts ensure secure, leak-proof fastening even in harsh service conditions.
We supply premium Monel nuts known for exceptional resistance to seawater, acids, and alkaline media. Manufactured in grades Monel 400/Monel K500, these nuts provide high strength, excellent toughness, and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. They are widely used in marine engineering, chemical processing, pump systems, heat exchangers, and oil & gas applications, ensuring reliable performance in harsh and corrosive environments.
We manufacture Inconel nuts for high-temperature and high-pressure service conditions. Produced in grades such as Inconel 600, 601, 625, 718, and X-750, these nuts retain strength at elevated temperatures and offer outstanding resistance to oxidation and creep. They are commonly used in gas turbines, nuclear plants, furnaces, petrochemical processing, and aerospace applications, making them ideal for extreme operating environments.
We offer Hastelloy nuts designed for highly corrosive industrial processes. Available in grades Hastelloy C276, C22, and B2, these nuts deliver excellent resistance to strong acids such as hydrochloric and sulfuric acid, as well as pitting and stress corrosion cracking. They are extensively used in pharmaceuticals, chemical reactors, pollution control equipment, and petrochemical plants, where safety and reliability are critical.
Unifit Fasteners manufactures nuts in compliance with international and Indian standards to ensure accuracy, durability, and interchangeability across global projects.
DIN standards are widely used in European and global mechanical engineering. We manufacture nuts as per the following DIN specifications:
Note: Although some DIN standards are replaced by ISO, DIN nuts remain widely used for legacy machines and maintenance projects.
ISO standards ensure global compatibility and interchangeability. We manufacture nuts as per:
These standards cover dimensions, threading systems, and mechanical properties.
We supply nuts according to major British Standards such as:
Many BS standards are now harmonized with ISO but continue to be used in UK and Commonwealth projects.
For Indian applications, our nuts are produced according to Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS):
Nuts are typically manufactured through a series of forming and machining processes. First, metal wire or rods are cut into small pieces called blanks. These blanks are then shaped using cold forging or hot forging to form the basic nut shape. Internal threads are created using tapping or thread cutting. After threading, the nuts undergo heat treatment to improve strength and hardness. Finally, surface finishing processes such as galvanizing, plating, or coating are applied for corrosion resistance and improved appearance. Each nut is inspected to ensure correct dimensions and accurate threading.
Nuts are manufactured using a wide range of materials based on application and required mechanical properties. Common materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, and mild steel. For high-temperature or corrosive environments, specialty alloys such as Inconel, Monel, Duplex, Super Duplex, and Hastelloy are used. Non-metallic materials like brass, nylon, and plastic are also selected where electrical insulation, corrosion resistance, or lightweight properties are required. Material selection depends on load, operating environment, temperature, and corrosion resistance requirements.
