Unifit Fastener is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality titanium products that have outstanding characteristics, which include good resistance to chlorine ions and other corrosive substances. This is one of the key benefits of a titanium round bar in that it is light, and the weight saved by either the end user or installer is substantial. Titanium has a low density compared to other stainless steels like 304 or 316, which are heavier and denser, resulting in a faster and more effective handling and installation process.
Besides being lightweight, corrosion resistance is another significant fact that makes titanium very preferable to industries. It is almost as strong as aluminum but only 60% more dense, which is the optimal compromise of strength and lightness. Titanium flat bars can be used in high temperatures, but high temperatures above 430°C can cause loss of mechanical strength in pure flat bars.
Titanium is quite ductile and therefore of lower hardness than some of the heat-treated steels, though it is very strong in many industrial uses. Moreover, ASTM B348 Ti Alloy Hex Bars enjoy the advantage of a natural passivation process in the air, which makes them have excellent corrosion resistance, which is equal to that of platinum. This combination of light weight, high strength, and better corrosion resistance is rare in other metals; hence, titanium is an excellent choice for fasteners, bars, and other industrial components.

Titanium Round Bars are lightweight, highly corrosion-resistant, and stronger than aluminum, making them ideal for industries requiring durable and easy-to-install components.
Yes, they can perform effectively at elevated temperatures. However, exposure above 430 °C may reduce their mechanical strength.
Titanium undergoes atmospheric passivation, forming a protective oxide layer that provides exceptional corrosion resistance, almost comparable to platinum.
Titanium bars are widely used in chemical processing, marine, aerospace, medical, and power generation industries due to their strength and corrosion resistance.
